| Plans for the ARTEMIS sailing canoe.
4,85 m x 77,5 cm (15'11" x 30"). Hardcopy, in English language. Dimensions are metric. The plan includes the licence to build one boat. 15 plan sheets, some of them with 1:1 drawings. Hull and deck are made without molds in "stitch-and-glue" style from 3 mm or 4 mm plywood. A comprehensive list of materials and a 40-pages building key with lots of pictures are provided as a CD. Plans and building instructions for the HUGH HORTON VENICE seat are included. |

| Kit for the ARTEMIS sailing canoe.
4,85 m x 77,5 cm (15'11" x 30"). The kit contains all plywood, plastic and metal parts for an ARTEMIS sailing canoe, rudder, leeboard and a HUGH HORTON VENICE seat. Rig and sails, epoxy, standard glass fabric, some wooden slats from the hardware store, paint and varnish, consumables and buoyancy are not included in the kit. A list of all parts that you need to purchase yourself can be found here. There are three different options for rig and sails. The more than 100-page building instructions are available in german language only. They are so detailed that this boat can be built by beginners. The first parts of the instructions can be downloaded for free here. Construction time is about 120 hours. |

Reduced ARTEMIS kit
| The reduced kit contains all plastic and metal parts for one
ARTEMIS sailing canoe and for one HUGH HORTON VENICE seat, including gear and hardware for the
leeboard mounting mechanism, mast foot, rudder gudgeons, rudder blade and -shaft and complete deck stainless steel
hardware (except cleats for halyard and downhaul). Specify whether you need a kevlar woven 45° band as a sheer strake or whether you prefer a handfull of small brass wood screws for a traditional wooden sheer strake instead. Wooden planks for hull, deck and the leeboard are not included in this kit. Shipped as standard international parcel. |

| The goal for the seat is comfort for an eighteen hour day, whether
paddling and/or sailing. Overall building time is a day or so, and finishing takes another half day. The seat is a very rewarding project, and if you have fun with it, you might be able to build a boat, too. Plans are metric and an english 8-pages building description with photos is included. Available as PDF version which will be emailed. Please specify whether you would prefer an A3 or a tabloid print format. |

| 5.4 sqm 3 oz/sqm dacron sail (BUFFLEHEAD specification), in red or
white. The sail is fully battened to support its perfect shape. It has three ingenious single-handed reefs: 3.7 / 2.4 sqm and a very small area for use as an auxiliary sail in strong winds. This is how a cruising sail / regatta sail should look like: generously reinforced in the heavily stressed areas and around eyelets, light and incredibly robust. Roll the sail after use and stow it in a long sail bag. Luff length: 325 cm, foot length: 227 cm, weight: 1,600 g. European quality dacron. Sail is made in Switzerland. |

| Here is an interlocking carbon mast for the 5.4 sqm dacron sail.
Three mast segments, therefore can be stored compactly in the boat, separate masthead, floatable.
The lower part is strongly built, reinforced at deck level, the middle part is medium weight, the top part is
particularly lightweight. All of them are sealed with foam. Carbon inner sleeves as connecting pieces in the lower
and middle parts. Inner diameter 38 mm. Delivery without halyard. Manufactured in Switzerland. Total length 420 cm, other lengths on request. Total weight approx. 2'000 g. |

| A soft, braided, very light and floatable sheet. A solid, pre-stretched halyard. We make mast steps ourselves; they are simply clicked over the mast. Two deck fittings / D-rings (see below) and a 3 mm line for the traveller. |

and for everything that must be lashed in the boat: flotation and luggage. These fittings are beautiful, elegant alternatives to conventional fittings, D-rings and brackets. With a weight of 2-3 g, they are around 100% lighter than conventional fittings. And they are safe: you can't hurt yourself or get clothes or a kneecap caught. The fittings are securely glued in with epoxy or two-component adhesive and look great on exposed laminate or wood. 25 x 36 mm base, 3 mm braided line. 100% made in Switzerland. |
